Spring 2016 Qualtrics workshops

We’re happy to offer four Qualtrics workshops in April. Registration is not required.

Three sessions will focus on the new Qualtrics Insight Platform, an overview of which is provided in this introductory video.

Basic Qualtrics Survey Building and Distribution (Research Suite)

  • Thursday, April 7, 9:30-11:00 a.m., McLure Library Room 33

Qualtrics online survey software offers features for building surveys, distributing surveys, and analyzing and reporting on survey responses. The University of Alabama has an enterprise agreement for Qualtrics; all students, faculty, and staff may access the web-based tool with their myBama credentials.

This hands-on session led by Academic Technologies intern Kelly Grove will cover the basics of creating, customizing, and distributing surveys with the current Qualtrics Research Suite platform. Attendees should set up their Qualtrics accounts prior to the workshop.

This hands-on session will cover advanced survey features of the new Qualtrics Insight Platform: survey logic options, randomization, embedded data, piped text, and more. Attendees should set up their Qualtrics accounts prior to the workshop.

Qualtrics Responses and Results Tools

  • Thursday, April 28, 9:30-11:00 a.m., McLure Library Room 33

In this hands-on session, participants will learn how to view and filter recorded responses, generate test responses, and create, share, and export reports with the new Qualtrics Insight Platform. Attendees should set up their Qualtrics accounts prior to the workshop.
