On September 5, I gave my \u201cQuick Tools for Data Visualization\u201d workshop as part of our workshop series. I wanted to share resources from that workshop. Due to various constraints, we are unable to provide workshops through video, web event, etc. at this point, but I can share the fairly detailed document I distributed. In the workshop, we talked about why people use data visualization as both part of and a primary methodology in research and teaching projects, and looked at three tools (very quickly): Voyant Tools, Google Fusion Tables, and Viewshare.<\/p>\n
