- Billy's is an import to the Bluegrass from western Kentucky. Moonlite in Owensboro is better known but Billy's is just as good or better. A definite down home atmosphere, with a UK flavor but not dominated by a college crowd. People come for the food, not the atmosphere. Billy's does a huge catering and carryout business too. They are the go-to place for BBQ in Lexington.
