{"id":703,"date":"2019-08-21T13:34:11","date_gmt":"2019-08-21T13:34:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/apps.lib.ua.edu\/blogs\/renovations\/?p=703"},"modified":"2019-08-21T13:34:11","modified_gmt":"2019-08-21T13:34:11","slug":"august-20-progress-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/apps.lib.ua.edu\/blogs\/renovations\/2019\/08\/21\/august-20-progress-report\/","title":{"rendered":"August 20 Progress Report"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>JavaCity is almost ready to open for customers.\u00a0 There will be a soft opening on Thursday (Aug 22), and JavaCity will be operating on a regular schedule after that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Music Library can now be accessed through the double doors in Java City.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The south stairwells between first and second floors are open and\navailable for use again.&nbsp; All doors into 102 are now open, including the\ndoors into the south hallway that connect JavaCity and the west wing.&nbsp;\nComputer labs in 104A and 204F are open and available for use.&nbsp; Students\nwill be able to access 204F, and study rooms and workspaces in 200, by taking a\nsharp turn to the right after exiting the elevator on second floor, and then\n\u201cFollow the Yellow Brick Road\u201d.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Restrooms are available on 2M, 3, and 4M for the public areas and\nrestrooms on 4<sup>th<\/sup> floor are available for library faculty, staff, and\ninvited guests.&nbsp; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JavaCity is almost ready to open for customers.\u00a0 There will be a soft opening on Thursday (Aug 22), and JavaCity will be operating on a regular schedule after that time.
