Next Friday, the University Libraries and the College of Education Research Assistance Center will present an introductory workshop on the IBM SPSS Statistics software available in the Libraries. Here are the details:

Registration is not required, but seating is limited.
IBM SPSS Statistics is a collection of products used to access and manage data, select and perform analyses, and share results. It is available on computers throughout the University Libraries.
This workshop will provide an introduction to SPSS, including entering data, data management, and descriptive statistics. Attendees will learn how to: enter data, navigate the SPSS module, edit a data set, transform variables, generate descriptive statistics, and generate frequency tables. The session will be hands-on, with the opportunity to ask questions at the end. The workshop is presented by the University Libraries and the College of Education Research Assistance Center, and the instructor is Dr. Sara Tomek, the center’s director.
