Reference management tools are a new addition to our list of supported technologies, and we’re happy to offer several workshops on them this semester. Registration is not required.
Reference or citation management tools can help you organize and cite your sources and automatically generate in-text citations and bibliographies. RefWorks and EndNote are paid tools available at no cost to UA students, faculty, and staff. Popular free tools include Mendeley and Zotero.
Two workshops on Box will be offered in November. Registration is not required.
Box is a cloud platform that helps users securely and easily store, share, and manage their files. Using the Box Web App, mobile apps, and Bob Sync and Box Edit desktop apps, users can access, edit, and share documents from anywhere and collaborate on projects. The University’s Box service, UA+Box, is provided to students, faculty, and staff at no cost with no storage limit.
Like our Microsoft Word workshops, this semester’s Google Docs sessions will help you meet assignment requirements and focus on research and writing, not fixing formatting problems. Registration is not required.
