Later in the four-page newsletter are some first-person political columns by student contributors, as well as stories about events in Canada and elsewhere the United States–including coverage of the Oregon hate crime in which two LGBTQ people, Hattie Mae Cohens and Brian Mock, were burned to death amid efforts to pass that state’s Proposition 9 referendum. |
