This Goodly Land: Alabama’s Literary Landscape is a project of the Alabama Center for the Book. Its purposes are to spotlight Alabama’s literary past, present, and future and to encourage the reading of Alabama literature. The authors included in this project have been selected by a committee made up of scholars and experts in Alabama literature. Authors are researched by volunteers, and profiles are created by project staff.
