The Office of Library Technology, in conjunction with the College of Engineering’s Department of Aerospace Engineering & Mechanics, recently announced the addition of MSC Nastran 2013 and MSC Patran 2013 to 16 Dell desktops in the Rodgers Library Scholars’ Station.
MSC Nastran is used to perform linear and nonlinear static, dynamic, and thermal analysis.
MSC Patran is used with Finite Element Analysis software to simplify the creation of linear, nonlinear, explicit dynamics, thermal analysis ready models.
