Graduate Study Room

Bruno Library’s new graduate study room is now open for business.  The room is located on the ground floor, down the short hall by the elevator.  It contains 20 computers loaded with productivity software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, SPSS, and SAS.  Graduate students may enter the room by swiping their Action Card at the door.  A valid Bama account is required for logging into the computer.

The room may also be reserved for other uses, so signs inside and outside the door show the room’s schedule for the day.  The room is otherwise available all the hours the library is open.  We do ask that graduate students exit the room 15 minutes before closing or any reserved time.

Graduate students, come by and take a look!  Let us know what you think.

New Bruno Library website

The Bruno Library has a new website!  Along with the new site, we have a new address:

http://www.lib.ua.edu/bruno

The Bruno site is now integrated into the University Libraries website to improve your access to all of the University Libraries’ collections and services.  There is a new look and organizational structure for the overall site, along with several new features.

We hope you enjoy the new site.  Don’t forget to change your bookmarks to the new address.  The current website will be available until the morning of the first day of classes, August 19.

Welcome!

Welcome to the Bruno Library’s new blog!  We’ll use this forum to let you know about all the great things happening at the Angelo Bruno Business Library.  Right now we’re busy getting ready for the upcoming Fall 2015 semester.  We’ll have more to say about new services in the next few weeks, so be sure to check back regularly.
