When you want to view an article online, using Google to find the journal at the publisher’s website isn’t always the best way. The library website provides a more reliable method of locating the e-journals that we offer. At any page on the library website, click on “Research Tools” in the red bar at the top of the page. Next, click on “E-Books & E-Journals.” On this page you can enter the name of the journal to see a list of locations where the journal is available online, along with the date range. Some journals are available at the publisher’s website, but others are offered through our databases or through a collection like JSTOR. Going through the library website has another advantage: if you’re off-campus, you will be able to authenticate using your bama account to get full access to our resources.
Next time you’re looking for an e-journal, start at the library website! Bruno Library’s home page is found at http://www.lib.ua.edu/bruno.
